CCE Product Warranty

 CCE has a fully equipped workshop. All equipment and appliances sold by CCE carries a 12/6 months warranty from date of sale.

 Products in the smalls category carry no warranty except if it was found to be faulty on

delivery. If the product is of an inferior quality then replacement product or refund will be at the sole discretion of CCE.

Warranties will be considered to be invalid under the following conditions

  • Improper use of the product
  • Incorrect building wiring or voltages
  • Not using the appliance in accordance with the operating instructions
  • Not using CCE service technician/or a CCE approved technician to service or repair the product


Warranty Repairs


 Warranty repairs will be carried out by CCE technicians or a CCE approved repair agent. All warranty repairs must be accompanied by the original invoice.

Large appliances

Warranty repairs for Large Appliances will be carried out by a CCE technician or a CCE approved repair agent. All warranty repairs must be accompanied by the original invoice.

CCE will endeavour to complete all repairs within 48 hours of approval. CCE, however, cannot be held responsible for delays due to factors beyond CCE control such as parts availability, availability of technicians etc. CCE cannot be held responsible for any loss of income as a result of such delays.


Electrical Equipment Warranty

Installation of equipment must be done by a qualified technician registered with the relevant accredited body.

Repair work carried out by unauthorised parties whilst the equipment/goods are still under warranty will render the warranty null and void.

Only failure due to normal parts failure will be honoured in the case of the following Elements, contractors, PC boards, Motors, etc.

Incorrect Installation, Damage or abuse of goods and equipment is not covered under the warranty.

Equipment power cables that have been cut or joined will render the warranty null and void.

Wearing parts such as belts, blades, clutches, bushes, etc are not covered under the warranty.

Globes, fluorescent tubes, fuses are not covered under warranty.

Proof of sale, with a correct serial number of the equipment, will be repaired under warranty at no charge.

All parts and repairs done carry a 3 months warranty.


Returns Policy

 In order to obtain credit in the event of goods being returned the CCE office must be contacted and informed accordingly and a copy of your invoice must be emailed to CCE at

 The goods returned must be returned at own cost to F&R Technical Services T/A CCE at 14 Utilis Street, Blackheath, Cape Town.

 Proof of purchase must be provided

 All goods shall be unused and in original condition and packaging.

 Should goods being returned not have original labels then it will be returned to the customer without replacement or credit being issued.


Dealer credit and returns policy

 Dealers that have purchased products from CCE and wish to return them due to product being faulty or damaged must do so within 14 days of delivery. The Dealer will be credited or the product will be replaced provided that CCE is informed in writing within 24 hours of goods being delivered and returned to the CCE warehouse

 Damage by a third part courier will not be replaced
